Telkom has launched a grand strategy toward sustainable competitive growth, with the target as :
- Organic growth that will be achieved by strengthening the core business through a focus on customer segmentation strategy that consumer services, enterprise services, and wholesale and international services, which are supported by 10 million and 5 million POTS connections Speedy connections.
- Inorganic growth will be achieved through a strategy relateddiversification the form of new business development, strategic portfolio management, and to build synergy between us and our subsidiaries.
In the framework of the effective implementation of these strategies, it is deemed necessary to some of the following :

To that end, in 2012, Telkom has made some changes regarding the roles and responsibilities of Directors, as follows :
- Divert tasks and authority handling segmenwholesale and international business, from the beginning under the Director of Enterprise & Wholesale ( "EWS") to below the Director of Compliance and Risk Management ( "CRM"). Thus the Director of EWS can focus more on the development of enterprise business segment.
- Adding the duties and authority of the Director of CRM to handle wholesale and international business segments, in addition to its duties and powers as the Director of CRM.
- Adjusting the duties and authority of the Director of IT, Solution and Strategic Portfolio ( "ITSSP") to better focus their efforts on innovation and development of business portfolio, by shifting some of the activities of the Directorate ITSSP, particularly related to the management and utilization of IT and rates, being under the Directorate Network & Solution ( "NWS").
- Adding the duties and authority of the Director of NWS to handle the management and utilization of IT and service operation & management, to support business development efforts already underway (established).
In addition, to build more effective synergies in the Telkom Group, we form the structure of the Executive Board consists of four Managing Director of Subsidiary. Executive Board advisoryterkait stints with strategy formulation, planning, policy decisions and monitoring of performance, for each line of business, namely cellular business, international business, business IME and its tower business.
